Enzo maresca sends brutal warning to raheem sterling and exiled chelsea stars

Enzo Maresca has issued a stern warning that the Chelsea players who have been seperated from his first-team squad may not see any minutes this season if they want to remain at Stamford Bridge.

Raheem Sterling is the headline name in an exiled group which also includes Ben Chilwell, Trevoh Chalobah, Romelu Lukaku and a number of other players for whom Chelsea are trying to find either permanent or temporary transfers.

Sterling has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in a deal which could bring Jadon Sancho to Stamford Bridge, although there is a lot of work to be done ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline.

Asked if he had any advice to Sterling after his shock exile, Maresca responded: “My advice – he knows exactly what he has to do. He doesn’t need my advice.

i do not know what takes place, if the transfer window closes. we will see who is right here and who is not right here. the most effective aspect i can say is those who’re going to get minutes are those who i think can assist us.

“it’s no longer just raheem. it is all of the players who on this second are trainingAside. inside the second the switch window closes, they’re now not going to get mins. i have already been clean with them and sincere and that is the best purpose why.”

Chelsea are try to reduce the size of their unwanted team. kepa arrizabalaga has joined bournemouth on mortgage, while fellow goalkeeper djordje petrovic has agreed to enroll in the blues’ sister side in strasbourg in france.

Romelu lukaku is in italy to go through a clinical ahead of a everlasting switch to napoli.
