The youngest Winger now youngest ever scorer at European Championships Lamine Yamal makes history

Yamal made more history

Spain winger Lamine Yamal became the youngest scorer in the history of the European Championships with an incredible strike in their Euro 2024 semi-final with France.

Yamal breaks the record aged only 16 years and 362 days. He had already achieved several other milestones this tournament, such as becoming the only 16-year-old to ever start a Euros game, while he is also Spain’s youngest ever scorer as well

His latest accomplishment came in Tuesday’s night’s encounter with tournament favourites France, bringing his side level after they went behind to an early Randal Kolo Muani goal.

Yamal took matters into his own hands when he was passed the ball 25 yards from goal, coming just inside off the right flank. He shifted the ball onto his stronger left foot and let fly, giving goalkeeper Mike Maignan no chance with a shot that dipped up and over into the top corner.
