Chiefs Rival Chargers exchange for QB Taylor Heinicke: Tracker

The Los Angeles Chargers would be going nowhere fast without star quarterback Justin Herbert, and backup Easton Stick hasn’t been good enough. Enter Taylor Heinicke, as the Chargers have traded for former the Falcons and Commanders quarterback starter.

Heinicke spent last season with the Falcons, starting four games for the team last season. Before that, he started in Washington and became a folk hero of sorts when he helped the 2020 edition of that team make the playoffs.
